Triton Smith (b. 2005) is an Australian-Canadian songwriter, producer & multi-instrumentalist based in Toronto. Triton began creating and releasing music online in 2020 using free software such as GarageBand and iMovie to make DIY albums and music videos, soon gaining some recognition from local musicians and creatives in Vancouver. Since then, Triton has grown into a versatile and valuable collaborator in both Vancouver and Toronto’s music scenes, building a catalogue of projects, including personal endeavors such as Triton, an alt-rock project that has reached college radio airwaves and iconic venues nationwide. Non-personal projects include diverse production/songwriting credits & live/studio performance experience, with upcoming artists such as Haleluya Hailu, girly., & Lila Gray, all enclosed in an ever-expanding portfolio that grows every day.
